Reliability

I have created this website as a place where I can share information about personal, physical and financial wellbeing. My wish is to create a trustworthy source of advice on these subjects for my readers and as such, I will never be paid or incentivised to speak positively about a product. The financial industry is already overrun with over-complex language and jargon, and I want my readers to not only trust in what I say but to create information that makes these industries easier to understand. Therefore, my content will always reflect my opinions and will be constructive in guidance.

Financial Advice

All information provided on the blog is for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. If you are seeking financial advice, please refer to an independent financial advisor who can assist with advice for your circumstances. Having said this, I can advise regarding mortgage advice*, and so if this is something you’re seeking, please do reach out directly so that I can assess your needs and find the right fit for your requirements. *please note, any advice relating to mortgages will be provided by myself via The Mortgage Mum.

Opinions and Reviews

All opinions and views mentioned on this website are my own. What I write is not designed to offend or insult, I am expressing my view and or opinion on a certain topic or product and how it works for me. Your views may differ—which is absolutely fine, we all have our own opinions!

Affiliates and Gifts

The items featured on this website have typically been bought by me, however, there are occasions where items featured may have been purchased, gifted, loaned or bought with discount codes or vouchers. If this is the case, you will find details of the particulars at the beginning of each post. However, please note that I would never use, nor share with you, items that I disliked or didn't recommend. The purpose of this website is to help improve financial wellbeing, not to encourage you to spend money on stuff you don't need, or isn't worth the cost!

When recommending products, I utilise affiliate commission services such as Like To Know It and Amazon to earn a percentage of commission on product sales. This does not affect your purchase cost, in simple terms, the commission is taken from the retailer via their commission platform and serves as a little thank you from the retailer, for introducing you to a certain product. Please note that all affiliate links will be disclosed and using affiliate links does not incentivise me to share certain products, as these are things I would naturally share with you anyway. It just means that I earn a small commission from sales which goes towards the running costs of this website. Because I use affiliate links, this website does use cookies, which you can read more about in my privacy policy.
